We want participants to take out 3 main things:
1.How we can motivate the client to participate to the whole process
2.The comprehension of the different forms of violence
3. Understanding and analyzing the consequences of working with perpetrators in an emotional level

1 What are the specifics of thework with male perpetrators
2 What is the structure of thework process with the perpetrator
3 What are the cultural and gender specifics of working with male immigrants

The workshop aims to provide better understanding of the male-specified challenges andinformation on work methods to overcome these challenges so that nonviolent relationships to come possible We want participants to take out 3 main things:
1. Better understanding of the possibility of learning to live non-violently.
2. One is able to utilize the Miessakit five-encounter model when working with men who are victims of violence.
3. Better understanding on issues behind the violence

1. Why the trauma perspective is important when working with intimate partner violence. 2. How men's experience of violence (when they were victims) affects their own violent behavior. 3. How can we know if a client is a perpetrator, a victim, or both

The goal of the workshop is to familiarize the audience with existing research on perpetrators of IPV..
We want participants to take out 3 main things:
1.An overview of existing research on perpetrators to better understand their actions
2. An analyses of how perpetrators understand their own violence and how it affects them.
3. A comparison of your own experience working with perpetrators and the lived experience of perpetrators portrayed in research.
Hjálmar Sigmarsson
The goal of the workshop istotransfer of practical examples of engaging men and boys in combating gender-based violence using a survivor-based approach.
We want participants to take out 3 main things:
1. Increased knowledge and skills in providing trainings where participants achieve a deeper understanding of a broad set of issues and concepts relevant to GBV and VAWG.
2. Increased skill in creating a sharing and learning space for men for effective engagement.
3. Increased skill in moderating workshops for men to discuss and design ways and strategies to involve more men
