Miessakit Association
Miessakit Association is a non-governmental expert organization established to support the mental, psychological and social growth of men. The organization complements the existing crisis services available for men and promotes nonviolent family life.
Lyömätön Linja Association
The association aims at providing support to victims of psychological and physical family violence. Another important aim is to help individuals who use family violence as well as those who fear using violence in their families.
RIKK
The university was founded on June 17, 1911.
The University of Iceland is committed to promoting equality and diversity in all fields. Various measures are employed in order to do this, one being an ambitious equality policy which encompasses both staff and students.

Moderators will tell us about the origins of the idea of group work, as well as which ways of attracting audience turned out to be effective, what strategies of group participants behavior could be observed, and of course they will touch upon peculiarities of organizing such groups in online format.

In the program:
- The origins of the idea.
- About the texts of invitations for the participants. The main message and how it worked.
- Peculiarities of motivating participants and conducting interviews.
- Expectations of participants, rules and responsibility. How we had to cope with boundaries violations and difficulties with accepting other people's opinion.

Hjálmar Sigmarsson, counselor at Stigamot (Iceland), educational and counseling center for survivors of sexual violence. Responsible for counseling male and female survivors of sexual violence and engaging men in combating violence against women through preventive education.
The webinar will focus on practical ways to address the problems that emerge when discussing gender-based violence and, in particular, the sexual type of gender-based violence.
